Bajardo, in western Liguria, is a medieval village which stands at an elevation of 900 metres on a peak at the head of the basin of the Nervia torrent.

About a hundred inhabitants live permanently in this village, almost all of them elderly. It should however be considered that, generally, the roads of Liguria are very bad.
