SOLVED RIDDLE

On our trip along the North coast of Spain we did decide to have one major break in northern Galicia. So we had a bit time to explore the coast and to enjoy the landscape.

Hi Christoph. I would be happy to help you, but this time I can not. Nevertheless, I think you are in the Mediterranean. But I'm not sure.

No, this is not the Mediterranean Sea - it is much colder and the tidal height was about 3-4 m (at new moon). And yes - I took Guernsey because it is closer to the solution than e.g. Antigua. Finally a hint - no, I am not on an island ...

Jan is much closer than Steffen, "westernmost" is already correct but please choose a different peninsula with a different but (alike Brittany) quite unique language background.

Steffen - I did not leave Europe. Actually - as a next hint - my flight from Munic took two hours and from there we drove for approx. 500 km to reach the scenic area were this costal region is situated :-)

Sorry Steffen but I think it is time to exclude France. BUT - in the region I have been to the culture has (at least) I one thing common with the French Brittany - its Celtic origin.

I agree with Bb5 although I grew up in the Viennese area (e4-e5, Nc3-Nf6, Bc4 ...) which is a bit pseudo-symmetric to (e4-e5, Nf3-Nc6, Bb5 ...)

Jan - you are completely right. Talking about pseudo-symmetry - the "hint" in terms of suspicious buildings is on the left hand side :-)

I think now Guiseppe is back in the game. His trip to Galicia did inspire me (honestly !) to give the north of spain a try as holiday destination. It was worth wile!

Hmm, perhaps I found it...Faro de Frouxeira to the far left? Just north of Lavacerido? And btw, I also have a Giuseppe Marzulli-inspired pano slumbering - hope to show it soon...
