Evito intenzionalmente di dare le coordinate geografiche del luogo, dato che si tratta di uno dei pochi angoli ancora "tourists-free"!!
Né gotico fiorito, né tracce bizantine; solo casette di edilizia popolare cinquecentesca senza alcuna aspirazione signorile, in un tessuto urbano codificato e "definito", saturato quasi, già alla fine del primo millennio. Alcune costanti urbanistiche: l'altana, la selva di comignoli e camini corrispondenti ai fuochi dei vari appartamenti, la biancheria stesa fra le due pareti contigue, l'abbellimento dell'angolo con fiori e piante; e, cosa rarissima e ormai pressoché scomparsa altrove, la porta di casa lasciata aperta senza alcun timore. Su tutto, un silenzio irreale a due passi da zone trafficatissime.
I intentionally avoid giving the geographic coordinates of the place, since it is one of the few corners yet "tourists-free"! Neither flowered gothic nor Byzantine traces; only sixteenth-century popular houses with no noble aspiration, in a codified and "defined" urban texture, already saturated at the end of the first millennium. Some urbanistic constraints: the altana, the fireplaces, the linen lying between the two contiguous walls, the embellishment of the corner with flowers and plants; and, very rare and nearly disappearing elsewhere, the doorway left open without any fear. All in all, an unreal silence a few steps away from busy areas.
