Franciacorta is a hilly area located between Brescia and the southern end of Lake Iseo.
It is one of Italian areas with the highest production of sparkling wine.


Also the reds and the whites are absolutely fantastic (but a bit expensive ...)

Hello Christoph. I think you're a very good wine connoisseur. Or at least, my opinion on wines is very often similar to yours. Franciacorta is a very good wine, but a little expensive.
I think that in Italy can be found wines with better value for money.

I agree with the two commentators ... but not only the wine, the panorama is fantastic too ... and free !!
