The Montechiaro Castle is an evocative place.
It is located on a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea, in one of the Sicilian coastal stretches more naturalistically intact.
But it is also rich in literary references, as refers to Tomasi di Lampedusa, the author of one of the most famous Italian novels of the twentieth century, "Il Gattopardo", whose ancestors were the owners of the castle.

Non sto però a ragionarci sopra, perché la mia mente continua ad associare la prima caletta con quella che c'è a ovest di Marina di Palma di Montechiaro, sotto il castello.
Quando non si riesce a scacciare un'idea che magari porta fuori di una cannonata, meglio lasciar perdere!
