The Morei Plains, a flat stretch of the Manali-Leh highway, were introduced in N.19457. Here we are already close to their end, that is, in the vicinity of Debring, where the ascent to Taglang La starts.
We have long discussed with Edoardo about the strange color of this sunset. Here is the state of the art of my memories - better to fix them sooner or later, and still better sooner than later! The bicycle is mine, since in this stretch Edoardo was a little bit ahead. Maybe he took more profit from the tailwind, and/or he shot less panoramas...

What happened to Perito Moreno? Although it did not have a beautiful sky like this, it was still a great pano.

Perito: When opening Panorama Photo to add labels, directions and the full text to the work of yesterday, I detected very poor interest, so at the end I expunged the poor Francisco Pascasio.
On the other hand, Morei does not need all this, since here I am able to describe only my bicycle and the "Shining Mountain" at 180°, which however at this point had already dismissed its sudden, spectacular glow.
As I noted in N.18247, in Ladakh the magical moments of this kind were always very short.
Cheers, Alberto.

Anche secondo me hai sbagliato a togliere il panorama precedente.
In questa, la bici da sola vale 5 stelle...

Patrick: sì, la Manali-Leh si fa tutta in bici. Su Wikiloc
www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/user.do?id=836240
trovi tutta la Manali-Leh in tre puntate e Poi Pangong-Nubra in altre tre.
Saluti
Alberto.
