Varful Laitel is not prominent peak in Fagaras Mountains, on trail toward 2nd highest in Romania - Negoiu. Easy ascent from Lake Balea - at Transfogarasan Road - about 2-3 hours. Its good sight point to eastern and most sharp part of these mountains, with glacial forms like lakes and post-glacial valleys.
