Panorama Photo

Sajama (6542) is the highest among the 14 Bolivian 6000m summits. It is the also highest peak of the Andes between Yerupaja, 1200 km north (Peru), and Llullaillaco, 800 km south (Argentina/Chile). In the overall, it ranks as the 15th Andine peak.
If you look inside the second half of the album picasaweb.google.com/albertopedrotti/Bolivia you will found plenty of photos of this mountain, both from below and from the summit. I have no summit panorama but, looking at the single images, you will soon realize why: the flat "rest of the world" lies simply too far down and, in addition, the immensity of the snow dome heavily restricts the possibilities. This also explains why one day somebody had the idea to turn these high snowfields into a football pitch, in order to play what seems to have been the highest match ever played.
The work that I present here has no particular pretension, except that of answering the complaint, raised in N.16792, about the lack of Sajama-panoramas.
