The very long descent from Dhampus pass (5260 m) to Marpha (2670 m) in the Kali-Gandaki-valley offered this fantastic view to the complete group of the Nilgiris. The mountains above Thorong La are towards the left end of the panoramic. Annapurna I is hidden somewhere behind Nilgiri Central.
Kali-Gandaki-valley is marked on the right because there it can be guessed. But in deed the path from Dhampus pass leads dircectly to this majestic valley.

Spaß beiseite, die Eindrücke von Deinen Reisen in eine Region, die ich auch noch sehr gerne besuchen würde, begeistern mich stets! Die gigantischen Höhenunterschiede und die Geschichte um die Besteigungen der höchsten Berge der Welt haben mich von Jugend auf in den Bann gezogen.
