Last year I posted a far-view-pano from here, #9923, but I never got to make decent overview panos until now. Back then the sun was too much in the way.
The hilltop is a tumulus, and the view is hammerlike for danish proportions. Unfortunately one looks into a tree and a mast to the north, so a presentation must be divided. I start with the more modest eastern view.
The hill is part of a large horseshoe-formed endmoraine that points to the northwest. The hill is in the southwest part, so we look over the horseshoe and into the subzero lying land inside the horseshoe. That part was until ca. 1870 a shallow fjord, but was then dammed in and drained. Must have been an impressive sight back then; still to be enjoyed when looking at udeuschle! Also some high Sjælland hills can be seen, and as a bonus (in a teleview) some high buildings in Roskilde + 2 chimneys around Copenhagen, giving a coast to coast-view of more than 70 km.
Pano made from 11 pics (RAW), 50 mm, developed in DPP (6500 K, moderate sharpness), iso-100, f/10, 1/500 sec. Stitched in PTgui pro, re-scaled and sharpened in IrfanView.

This is a very nice and unspectacular landscape with silence and deep sun light. I like it very much. Is it possible to label any populated places?
LG Jörg
What a View! An excellent sharpness for hand-held.
