The Jaganath (master of the world) Temple in Puri is one of the holiest and biggest temples in India. Non Indians are not allowed to enter through the gates. For foreigners the location, from where I took these pictures, is the only place, where you have a nice overview. The compound contains actually 120 bigger and smaller temples, a couple of thousand priests and monks live there to worship the various deities. It contains also one of the worlds biggest kitchens, where the ritual meals for the gods are prepared and later given to devotees. The highest tower is 65m high and sits on top of the main sanctum.
