Location: Monte Buio (1400 m)      by: Giuseppe Marzulli
Area: Italy      Date: 2 July 2026
Monte Buio, 1400 meters, is a mountain in the Ligurian Apennines with a wide panoramic view. Theoretically, I could have even seen Corsica, but I didn't.

Comments

Punta Dufour, of course, is the icing on the cake to the final … a fantastic viewpoint and another stunning panorama of Liguria, Giuseppe!

Cheers, Hans-Jörg

Ah, but my goal is a panorama that goes from Corsica to the Dolomites, including Ligurische Alpen, Seealpen, Cottische Alpen, Dauphiné-Alpen, Grajische Alpen, Penninische Alpen, Lepontinische Alpen, Luganer Voralpen, Berner Alpen, Glarner Alpen, Westliche Rätische Alpen, Östliche Rätische Alpen, Bergamasker Alpen, Gardasee-Voralpen, Südliche Rätische Alpen, in a single panorama ;-)
Theoretically, it's possible (not from this mountain). In practice we'll see if I can do it, but it will be very difficult.

bei all der südlichen Vegetation inclusive Mittelmeer ist ja die Monte Rosa genial. LG Alexander
