I guess it is somewhere in the Italian alps. Anyway, it looks a very difficult village to live, steep sides all around. What an idea to build a village there?

Hi Mentor. I have seen many perched villages like this in southern Italy and also in southern France, especially not far from the coast.
They are almost all of medieval origin and very beautiful. They were built so because it was easier to defend themselves from pirate incursions.
But this is more or less in the area you said.

This is the well known village APRICALE near to France which I wanted to visit in my holidays before three years. But at the end I finished my journey at the coast in Roquebrune.

Could be Saorge

I am not sure and have no IT access right now to search. But I am very sure it is between Nice and Torino - most likely on the French side ..

Yes, it's Apricale. Take a look at the bell tower.
It's not a photomontage.

So were we expected to recognize the bike at 500 Px? A real challenge ;-) Cheers, Martin

I asked the webmaster to increase height to 1000 px, but the file seize also should be higher.
Live television today is better quality than 500 px.
