A view over the Røsnæs peninsula. In clear weather a large portion of the southern Kattegat and Storebælt is visible from Røsnæs - from Djursland (in Jutland) over Samsø and Fyn to the Storebælt-bridge. Also various small islands can be pinned out - though sadly not from one single point.

22 pics, 52 mm, stitched with Hugin.

The Storebælt-area is the most dry and sunny place in Denmark, and Røsnæs is one of the finest places to observe this. Relict populations of Fire-bellied Toad (Bombina bombina), Oberthür's Grizzled Skipper (Pyrghus armoricanus), and Common Rockrose (Helianthemum nummularium) are good indicators of this.

This panorama is arranged good. Only the green bag disturbs something. The description of the landscape particularly impressed me. Is Aarhus actually to be seen?

no, Århus is not visible on this picture, nor on this day, but on very clear days some tall buildings can be seen behind Samsø. But you need binoculars to really enjoy it. LG Jan.
