Dear Giuseppe, I have a slight suspicion that you’re trying to test me, how well I really know the regions in your home country that I’ve already visited ;-) !?

One thing is sure ... I haven’t been to your location yet. But the topography and some landmarks are looking really familiar to me ... I have labeled some points and I hope I'm not wrong. It was probably taken from C......ia d'O. or on the way leading up to that famous volcanic mountain!?

The labels are correct, but you can also see Montepulciano ;-)

Montepulciano has been identified and I think it was you.

That's right, Giuseppe ... you made me curious to keep a lookout for it!! It's funny how just a tiny corner of the buildings around Piazza Grande stands out above the ridge ;-)

To be picky, Montepulciano isn't actually in the Val d'Orcia, but halfway between the Val d'Orcia and the Val di Chiana.
I hadn't recognized it either, but then I saw the photo of the area with the 200mm lens and recognized the Torre Comunale.

Eine sehr schöne und abwechslungsreiche Landschaft, bei der es viel zu entdecken gibt.
