The Punta Palascìa lighthouse is the easternmost point of Italy and the narrowest point of the Strait of Otranto, where the Adriatic Sea conventionally ends.
Few people realize how far east Puglia is. If I told you that the Punta Palascia lighthouse is further east than Stockholm and roughly on the same longitude as Danzig, would you believe me?
