I suppose I should explain.
It’s just a play on words.
I am in Candela, a little-know town in Puglia.
Candela also means “Candle” in English (in German “Kerze”).
As you can see, from the leaves on the trees in the landscape, there was a lot of wind, which is common in that area and explains the presence of so many wind turbines.
So, “Candle in the Wind”, the very famous song by Elton John.

Even if I can't determine the location at moment, I'll throw the ball back here when you wrote a few weeks ago to my riddle (#34044): “I don't know, but instinctively, I would think it's in the Tuscany” ;-) !? The mountains on the right in the background are looking a little suspicious to me ...

Cheers, Hans-Jörg

Hi Hans-Jörg and thanks for your comment.
We often have to follow our instincts, but instinct doesn't always lead us in the right direction ;-)
We're not in Tuscany, and I don't think anyone will guess, because it's a little-known area, both in general and on this site.

Somewhere in Puglia? A lot of wind turbines, and obviously it had a stiff breeze

Okay. I am in Puglia.

If Hans-Jürgen speeks about the breeze, I would continue with the song "Candle in the Wind". Thanks a lot for showing these unknown areas, and that Italy is far more than Tuscany. Cheers, Martin

Ciao Alberto. Ogni riferimento ad Orazio ed ai poeti latini per me è sempre graditissimo, ma trovo più appropriato il rifermento ad Elton John…

Sic Horatius moritur
Hoc carmen ultimum fuisse Horatii dicitur. Quid est tibi, Pedrotti?

I never thought that there are locations with more wind turbines than in Germany.
