Dieser Tag ist noch nicht zu Ende erzählt. Vom Gipfel der La Polinosa kam ich steil schuttig bergab und grasig bergauf zu meinem zweiten Gipfel, dem Cervunal. Da die Rundsicht dort ähnlich wie die bereits gezeigten Motive ist, hebe ich sie mir für später mal auf. Für den Abstieg wiesen mich mein hervorragender Cicerone Führer und ein geladener GPS Track auf eine östliche Option hin, die einen Rundweg ergeben sollte. Vom Pass P.2085 zwischen Cervunal und Pico de la Cruz startete dieser Weg erst steil und weglos durch eine grasige Flanke. Bald aber kamen Steinmänner auf und führten gut durch Blockgelände und durch Schutt. Am hier gezeigten Standort war ein Fahrweg erreicht, der nach Maraña zum Ausgangspunkt zurück ging. Ein Kaffee auf dem Dorfplatz beendete die großartige Runde.

This day is not over yet. From the summit of La Polinosa, I descended steeply down a scree slope and climbed up a grassy slope to my second summit, Cervunal. As the panoramic views there are similar to those already shown, I'll save them for later. For the descent, my excellent Cicerone guide and a loaded GPS track pointed me towards an eastern option, which should result in a circular route. From the P.2085 pass between Cervunal and Pico de la Cruz, this path started steeply and pathlessly through a grassy flank. Soon, however, cairns appeared and led well through blocky terrain and scree. At the location shown here, a track was reached that led back to the starting point in Maraña. A coffee in the village square was a perfect end for this magnificent circuit.
