The Tower of Tentennano or Rocca di Tentennano is the medieval tower that dominates the village of Rocca d'Orcia.
Built as an extension of the rocky spur, and surrounded by several walls, the Rocca di Tentennano is the only fortress in the Val d'Orcia that in the Middle Ages has never been conquered by anyone.

But I had a chance to celebrate a hot Ferragosto 2023 :-)
... more maybe later.
Both to the right and to the left the too close walls could be seen. And this, in my opinion, is the best view of the Tower.
