Once again this charming valley, which I know from many sunrises and sunsets from other platforms, Giuseppe ... I have set two altitudes.

The highest top marked by HJB could be M.... A..... If that is correct than this panorama is shot in V.. d'.....

In 2000, I visited both Siena and Monte Amiata, but then, using neither mobile phone nor internet, I would not have noticed the valley's name.

Of course both Hans-Jörg and Paul solved it.
I am glad you visited Val d'Orcia, it's one of my favorite places.
To make truly beautiful panoramas, as Hans-Jörg said, the light of dawn or sunset would be needed. This light is not suitable for the landscape, but I was passing through and had no alternatives.
