Great view to the lake, also the mountains with some snow are very nice.

Hier hätte ich auch meine Baita hingebaut.

Gut 40 Jahre ist es her, als ich als junger Ballonmitfahrer eine halbe Alpenüberquerung machen durfte. Gestartet in Sonthofen führte uns der Wind genau in diese Richtung. Gegen Nachmittag schlief der Wind nahezu ein, der Sprung über die südlichen Berge der Tambogruppe bleib uns verwehrt. Vor der einbrechenden Dunkelheit entschloss sich unser Pilot, an den Hängen des Monte Boglia, in der Nähe des Bergdorfes Dasio zu landen. Der Dorfpolizist war mit der Situation, dass ein deutsch ausgeflaggter Ballon italienischen Boden berührte, etwas überfordert. Eine Kontrolle unseres Gepäcks forderte eine Signalpistole zutage, mit der Folge, dass wir erst einmal im örtlichen Wirtshaus, das dem Bruder des Polizisten gehörte, arrestiert wurden. Die Sache konnte allerdings schnell geklärt werden und es schloss sich an eine unvergessliche Ballonfahrt eine ebenso unvergesslicher Abend an. Leider hatte ich damals noch gar keine Ambitionen zu fotografieren. Daher bin ich dankbar für dieses Bild.

@Dieter: a really interesting story. Unfortunately Dasio cannot be seen in the pano, but I have labelled the direction where it is located.
@Günter: as I have seen, the inhabitants of Baita Comolli are goats.
It is probably more a stable than a real "baita".
@Friedemann: it is the first snow of this autumn. Generally in this period on the lake it melts after a while.

Once more do I become convinced of November being the smartest month of the year (in a photographic sense). I'm more than convinced about the beauty of the area and your pano !
