Panorama Photo

Your attention to the sky above our planet has now taken on the importance of a "monotheistic religion". Long ago, in Venice, I visited an astonishing photographic exhibition of a man who took many millions (really) of photos, during several years, from the same window of his house, on the edge of a wood. The photos all looked the same but actually they were all different, making evident the numberless variations of nature. You too are approaching this sensitivity. Please carry on.

Deutlich ist das selten zu beobachtende Purpurlicht zu sehen. Es wäre vielleicht noch einen Tick besser zu sehen, wäre der Übergang in die schwarze Nacht nicht so krass. Der im linken Bildteil doch schon fast nachtschwarze Himmel erscheint mir für die Niederlande doch etwas zu tropisch. Die Tiefen etwas hochgezogen, den Schwarzabgleich etwas höher gesetzt würde zu einem weniger dramatischen, aber vielleicht etwas realistischeren Bild mit einem noch wunderbarerern Himmel führen.

thx Dieter, I agree that lowering the black point a little indeed improves the view here especially with the white background. On my computer however, the background is dark and then this is less of an issue. I am also glad you remarked the purple light which is indeed quite special.

I wish, you also dedicate an own panorama to the candle.
