I know the area. It is a very beautiful pano. Perhaps there is an error of stitching.

Of course you are right, Giuseppe. There are rather disturbing stitching errors.
Haven't seen them this morning, when I watched the pano in a kind of a hurry.

Anyway: The landscape is amazing and so is the mixture of spring and snow.

@Arne: Der Weg mit Beschriftung Itinerario Montanelli führt zum Blockhaus hinauf.

The correct altitude reading should be lower - the Maielletta, which is the one with the antennas, is rated 1995.
