How did they get the information for this excellent vantage points?

Hello Heinz. I'm not sure that I completely understand your question. The vantage point is located on the trail to climb Monte Reixa (with a little detour). In pano 20500 is indicated both Monte Reixa, both this viewpoint (pano 20518).
It is a scenic spot known in the area and reached by an easy walk of 10 minutes from Passo del Faiallo. The Passo del Faiallo is reached by car on a beautiful panoramic asphalted road. The road is well seen in this pano.

At first I thought it's a bit too hazy for me. But the view is worth watching and a good complement to your pano before.

A wonderful view to the mountains and sea. I like the Ligurian coast much, and also the fascinating Autostrada A10 from Genova to Ventimiglia ...

Dear Hans-Jörg, I also love the Ligurian coast, but I think the A10 Genoa-Ventimiglia is the worst Italian highway (for those who must follow it for work) ;)
For those not in a hurry and that goes for tourism it is certainly a fascinating highway.
