The High Peak area of the Peak District of England under (increasingly rare) full winter conditions. The main road under the crumbling Mam Tor mountain has been closed due to landslips since the late '70s, meaning the small Winnats Pass road is now the major thoroughfare from the Hope Valley to the west.
