Of the many summits of the Lefka Ori, the Zaranokefala is the most prominent over the south coast. It is also the only one featuring a nice, nearly Dolomitic, rock wall, whose presence can be guessed here below the foresummit on direction Sougia.
I accessed the summit from above, coming from the Pachnes, which I had climbed from the Eligias gorge, east of the popular Samaria gorge.
