Very nice look downhill from my neighbourhood. So you are one of those hundreds of Italians who "invade" Füssen and vicinity every year this time around. LG Robert

Thanks!
@ Robert: eheheh, I was seriously embarassed. It seemed to be in Como.. no, in Como I hear more foreign languages than here

Beautiful view, but difficult angle. If you would set the horizon straight, the towers of the castle would bend like the tower of Pisa.
Actually, my experience is, the Japanese are outnumbering the Italians by far. On one occasion I came down from a trip to Säuling in December, where I was alone for hours. Near the castle I was soon surrounded by hundreds of chatting Japanese, giving me the feeling of jumping directly from the alps to downtown Tokyo.

I love it !!
A great perspective and beautiful colours !
I'm German but now live in Australia. On one of my recent visits to Europe I just had to go and see this place. I got a similar shot from a lower vantage point over at the Alpenpanorama site and appreciate the opportunity to compare the 2 and see how the angles change with the different hights.

On our side of the Atlantic this is quite possibly the most famous building in Germany!

Stefano, I really like this dramatic perspective and panoramic view!
