Already on the way back from the Rio Guadiana (#31714) the rain started, which then intensified in the evening and at night and continued the next day. The planned hike was unthinkable. So I first drove to Faro, because of flooded roads with longer time in traffic jams. The old town is charming, there is even a bit of a view from the roof of the cathedral. Across the road, behind the cordons, a television crew stood at a house that had collapsed due to the floods. It was not until the afternoon that it became drier again.
