I'm sure they built it not for the beauty of the views but rather for other aspects such as defnese, but nowadays these locations are indeed beautiful. Cheers, Martin

When I opened your beautiful panorama, I first thought of Fosdinovo, because the village is similarly constructed (for me as a "Non-Italian) - but then I saw the difference in the castle and the churches!!!
