Aus dem Archiv vom selben Tag wie die zuletzt gezeigten Bilder. An diesen Tagen frühstückten wir im Dunkeln, es wurde spät hell und war morgens knackig kalt. Der erste Stop auf der Maligne Lake Road ist am Maligne Canyon - für uns etwa um 09:00 morgens. Die Schlucht hatte ich nicht verpanoramisiert, wohl aber den Blick vom Aussichtspunkt am Parkplatz. Standort nur näherungsweise.

From the archive of the same day as the last shown pictures. On these days we had breakfast in the dark, daybreak was late and itwas crispy cold in the morning. The first stop on the Maligne Lake Road is at Maligne Canyon - for us about 09:00 in the morning. No panorama from the canyon, but I did capture the view from the viewpoint at the parking lot.

Für diesen Blick paßt die Aufnahmezeit sehr gut. Unten noch Schatten und Wolkenfelder, oben die schneebedeckten Gipfel in der Sonne.

Das ist zweifelsohne schon eine gewaltig schöne Landschaft ... da kommt man beim durchscrollen schon ins Träumen - danke auch für diesen feinen Archivnachschlag, Martin !!!
