Apparently this spring will be "stolen" from an invisible but very dangerous enemy ... In Italy, and unfortunately not only in Italy, the situation is really difficult. And, in Italy, the situation in Veneto and Lombardy is dramatic. I think of Giuseppe, who I believe is committed to the front line both for his profession and above all for the place where he lives. Come on Giuseppe! Courage! And come on everybody, we'll get out of it. We will come back to enjoy spring and summer, sunbathe, walk, go hiking or climbing, hug each other. In Venice two basilicas (Redentore and Salute) are perpetual witnesses that even the worst plagues pass - let's just have faith, and above all trust in our ability to accept the sacrifices that are imposed on us.
Ciao, Alvise

Thanks for your words and this fitting picture. Restrictions have arrived here as well, but we are not anywhere near to what you have to endure in Italy - especially in the hospitals. Special greetings to Giuseppe, if he finds time to read this.

Quello che mi stupisce - e mi fa invidia - è vedere panorami pubblicati in giorni ben successivi all'8/3.
Ciao, Alvise
