Carouge is a small town, now part of Geneve. While Geneve is fairly unique within Switzerland, formerly Savoyard Carouge has its own very distinct heritage, character, spirit and architecture, which I tried to capture here.

Geneva was a day trip on my most recent trip to Switzerland and this was a brief photo stop between a lunch with old friends and a covid test I had to take before returning to Canada.

Other than in Trinidad, I have hardly taken any 'standard' cylindrical panos since the fall of 2021

Schönes Panorama, Augustin - google hat relativ schnell weitergeholfen ... eine Tasse Kaffee in der "Rue du Collège 1" würde ich vorschlagen ;-) !!

Charmingly, although the small town is different from the city and the city different from the country, there couldn't be a scene more representative of the country than this one here. The location is easily found on Google. Cheers, Martin

Viele Hinweise auf des Raetsels Loesung, wenn man sie kombiniert.

Mittlerweise ist es 35 Jahre her, dass ich in Carouge zwei Wochen lang das College (Mittelschule) besuchen durfte. Und weniger als 2 Jahre spaeter begann ich dann in Geneve das Uni-Studium.

Die 'natuerlichere', einfachere Wahl waere wohl Zueri & Sankt Gallen gewesen ...

Ich weiss noch nicht, ob ich das Pano hier stehen lasse. Dass die Person mit Velo & auch der Volvo beide zweimal im Bild sind, ist mir bewusst
