This is a follow up with pano 27683 which was photographed 16 minutes earlier or 7 minutes before sunrise. The full sun is now just above the horizon. The predominant red colors are gone, the cirrus clouds turned grey and some of the contrails caught direct sunlight. In June, sunrise is aligned with the middle of the river Scheldt, seen from Terneuzen in the direction of Hansweert. Because of the corona lockdown traffic on the river was extremely low. So here we have an almost undisturbed view.

Wonderful, I would have put the two short panoramas in a row and presented them together.

Very beautiful, even if I prefer the moments before sunrise (or after sunset).
Is traffic still not picking up?
Cheers, Martin

to Martin, today the traffic has exploded again and an empty river like on this pano is history.

Mentor, do you actually hear the noise of the ships on your balcony?
2020/07/02 18:44 , Heinz Höra
To Heinz, yes at least from some of them and it depends much on the wind direction. Especially the big ships have a deep tone but it never disturbs me even when I am resting. But in misty conditions they often use their horn and that is very loud.
