Schöne Szene, die mich allerdings farblich nicht überzeugt.

Ein schönes Panorama. Mir gefällt es immer sehr, wenn Symmetrie im Spiel ist und wenn ein schöner Bezug zum Vordergrund vorhanden ist. Hier mit den beiden Anlegestellen für die Schiffe.

Ich bin ja bekanntermaßen kein Freund von farblichen Veränderungen. Insofern verstehe ich Dieter. Im Vergleich zu Deinen sonstigen Panos finde ich die Veränderungen aber noch "naturnah" und zusammen mit dem wunderschönen Motiv bei ebensolcher Wetterstimmung sehr gelungen!

Die farbliche Ausarbeitung - ich tippe auf einen digitalen Farbverlaufsfilter - ist unkonventionell und vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache. Ich finde es aber gut, dass jemand auch den Mut hat, mal von der Mehrheit abzuweichen. Der Wiedererkennungswert ist dir sicher :-)

yes, filters are applied in various ways. Here's the "Making of", but let me first say thanks for all the positive votes all the more it is only a smooth and uncomplicated pano.
The kids were unobserved. I was lucky having them in the first picture(s).

The X-T2 allows to shoot RAW and JPG in parallel on 2 SD Card slots so during the development of RAW, I had a comparison to JPG, which I think was closer to reality (I used Fuji Film-Simulation ASTIA). The RAW files were less contrasty and were missing the portion of dynamic the situation with dark shades and sunny spots deserved.
The RAW processing into DNG was done with Iridient X-Transformer which seems for me to be the best solution at present for handling the X-Trans Sensor. The software handles lens correction and optimal sharpness.

The next steps are done in Lightroom to modify Temperature, HighLights/Shadows, Dynamic, Whites and Blacks, Lifting Luminance on Yellow and Green, Partial toning on highlights and shadows.
The final finish was done with my Luminar Plug-in after the Pano finally had been stitched. I haven't saved these steps but I think I applied a vertical black colour layer on approx 30 percent of the picture on a decent degree.
I also lightened up the foreground significantly. Applied softening, orton-effect on trees and additional micro-contrast in the distant trees.

... is it worth the effort on a picture with 500pixel height? No, it definitely is not worth the work. You need minimum double the size to see the differences of each step.

Thank you for the very interesting view into your workflow and your "development lab". Both pictures where exciting and I believe when you say, that the effect which has been worked out in the process, not really comes into their own at 500px.
Walter S. once compared us photographers with cooks. I thought that was a wonderful comparison. I would visit your kitchen more often..and I know it would never be boring ;-)

Schöne Motivwahl und gelungener Bildaufbau. Das Licht gefällt mir sehr gut, die Farben sind für mich hier okay.
