SOLVED RIDDLE.

The Tiber Island (Isola Tiberina) is the only island in the Tiber river which runs through Rome.
This is a view of a little bit different from the usual, because in those days there was the event "Cinema Island".
Behind there is the popular district of Trastevere. Once it was one of the most authentic areas of Rome, it has now become a bit too much a tourist district.

That's not hard, I still wait until tonight to give others the opportunity to solve the riddle ;-)

Yes. If one knows the city it is very easy.

Hint: The event is a cinema festival.

It is a central area of a well-known city...

The hint with the cinema festival was a good help ;)

I am looking forward to the solution!

Piú che riddle, direi situazione chiarissima...
Il sole è ormai basso, e stai ammazzando il tempo con quale panorama aspettando che venga l'ora di cacciarsi da Noantri, o altra trattoria di Trastevere equiparata!

To have a feeling is of course not enough to solve a riddle. Giuseppe - you tricked my by saying it is "close to the center". Rome is the center! Does it have a center?
18.03.2016 18:52 , Christoph Seger
Dear Christoph, as you said, Rome does not have a well-defined center. I wrote "a central area", and, for me, Tiber Island is a central area of Rome, but probably my English translation has not been effective. Sorry.

I thought that this looks very typical of Rome when I briefly looked at it this week, but unfortunately I had no time to investigate before the weekend - too late for the riddle. Cheers, Martin
