The Baia del Silenzio (Bay of Silence) is a small beach in Sestri Levante, in eastern Liguria, surrounded by typical Ligurian houses. It is very crowded in summer and it is better to go in spring or autumn.

The name was given by a local poet, who was impressed by the calm and tranquility of the place.
But it was 1919 ;-)
Many things have changed since then...
