Actually it's only a dry stone wall. 
They can be found everywhere throughout the whole Mediterranean.
The pond was filled up with dozens of screaming frogs. High above us, outside the photo, eight majestic griffins (Gyps fulvus Linnaeus, 1758) flew in circles, carried up by the thermal updrafts.
