SOLVED RIDDLE.

The Semnoz or Montagne du Semnoz is a mid-altitude mountain (1.702 meters) 16 kilometers long, in Haute-Savoie, at the northern end of the Bauges massif, between Annecy in the north and Allèves (cluse de Bange) to the south.
Roman cartographers named the mountain "Salmon" because of its shape, which reminded them of that of this fish.

Lac du Bourget ok, Mont Revard is not far away.
Naturally Jörg had already guessed.

Alive scene and a very pleasant view. The sky could be less garish, I guess.

For me in 2017 the usual (> 20 times) "fly-over" area :-)

Giuseppe, can you check the position once more? I compared with other panos and pictures and I am almost sure your pano has been taken near Télésiège du Panoramique or Chalet de Lescaux. Height not more than 1640 m.

If you tell me, I don't even check :-)
