Hallgrímskirkjan is the most obvious viewpoint in Reykjavík. For a fee one gets to the tower in an elevator, and from there the view is spectacular, though not that easy to panoramize, since the wall is thick, and the windows are small.
Most prominent view is the Snæfellsjökull, 115 km across the Faxafloí bay, although a bit hazy...
I made a series with my 50mm in HF, but I actually like this tele better, though the city itself sort of gets away...Maybe I will show the 50mm version later.
Pano made from 75 pics (RAW), 70-200mm@200mm, iso-200, f/7,1, 1/800 sec, developed in DPP (daylight, neutral, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, scaling and sharpness in Irfanview.

Das Perlan, von dem Jörg E. uns die Stadt zeigte, zieht den Blick genauso an, wie die Kirche, auf der du hier stehst, in Jörgs Pano ein Hingucker ist.

On both ends houses are a bit lonesome without the earth beneath them.
@Dieter: I simply work too slow to put out panos at a fast pace. In this case, the pictures had to be taken quite random, since the windows are quite small, and the crowd was big. That meant I had to go through a lot of pictures to find a useful batch, which was very time-consuming. Also, the Snæfellsjökull, to me, was the most important clou, and I wasn't sure if it was clear and evident enough to "excuse" the pano.
@Arne & Martin: I understand. The last part of the pano could be said to be expendable, but I still will keep the first part, since it shows a far view. Therefore, I go all in, and keep the whole thing. At your hints I will however upload the 50 mm version also.
