Come Pitigliano, anche Sorano è sorta su uno sperone sporgente da una specie di canyon scavato nei tufi maremmani dal torrente Lente.

Just like Pitigliano, Sorano also rises on a spur protruding from a sort of canyon carved into the Maremma tuffs by the Lente creek.

Coordinates corrected. Thanks for your advice.
As for darkness and light: perhaps it all depends on polfilter... and perhaps on brightness monitor too. On my screen I can see all the details also on the far left; enlightning the pano could make it less "dramatic" (just like Alberto says) than I would like.
Nevertheless thanks to you all for appreciating.
