An early morning, with no people and no traffic, by this viewpoint is a funny experience for me, because I will always remember it as very crowded and busy. It is well known by the elder generation, because all traffic from Western Sjælland to Lolland-Falster, before the finalization of the motorway between Copenhagen and Lolland-Falster, used this stretch of highway, with the viewpoint, rest area, and small ice cream booth. Therefore, the traffic was heavy, and there was always many people roaming the area. The clue was of course the view over the fjord, which itself is very quiet, as can also be seen here, since there is no harbour in the fjord. The water is very shallow, and with the small islands of Dybsø and Enø sheltering the inlet, it is actually surprising that it wasn't dammed off, and cultivated a long time ago.

Pano made from 27 pics (RAW), 70-200mm@70mm, iso-400, f/5,6, 1/200 sec, developed in DPP (daylight, neutral, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, contrats, scale, and sharpness in Irfanview.

Looks very peaceful indeed. Interesting to read your story of other times. Cheers, Martin

Very nice morning light. I would have begun after about 10 cm. The left part is very bright in the sky and does not show important things.
