Nearly the same location as the last pano, but this time from (off limits! Shame on me...) top of the crust that makes the rift valley of the american and eurasian tectonic plates. Sorry for once again showing a parking lot :-) The Þingvalla Lake is seen well from the top of the rock crust that is known as Lögberg, meaning Law Rock. The exact location for the ancient "things" is not known, and possibly eroded by the constant changing underground, but it is known to be somewhere along the crust along the rift.

Pano made from 15 pics (RAW), 50 mm, iso-100, f/8, 1/250 sec, developed in DPP (daylight, neutral, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, contrast, scale, and sharpness in Irfanview.

Ich liebe Felsen auf Panoramen so wie hier. Ihre Verschiedenartigkeit begeistert mich immer wieder. Der kleine Wasserfall mit dem Bach ist ein sehr schöner Abschluß.

Gefällt mir deutlich besser, als das Vorgängerbild mit den vielen Leuten. Hier sind es halt dann viele Autos, die den Eindruck einer unberührten Natur zunichte machen.

Die Kombination von Felsen im Nahbereich und Blick in die Ferne bei wieder prima Sicht und schönem Wolkenbild gefällt mir sehr gut. Eine Televariante mit Schnitt knapp oberhalb vom Parkplatz könnte ich mir auch gut vorstellen.
