Khare is the last settlement in the Hinku valley on the way to Mera Peak. From Khare you go out for the next camp at Mera La or - as we did - directly to the high camp at 5800 m. But first it is mandatory to spend here a whole acclimatization day, which can also be used for some interesting explorations in the high Hinku, a circus enclosed among Kyashar, Kangetga, Malanphulan and Peak 41.
