I had in mind as I decided to make a short detour from the trail to Gorak Shep to the nearby moraine in order to shoot the present panorama.
Photos often improve the reality, maybe isolating a pleasant detail, or making the most of a precious light... In this case, I think that the photographic achievement is far inferior to the reality - probably, it does not render properly the impressive size of the surrounding mountains. Nuptse and Pumori are the most prominent, while Everest (which at this point has appeared since a few metres) remains a little bit in the background.

Fantastic. And most probably underrepresented by the 500 pixel format here. Might work better in spherical projection on MP. Cheers, Martin

For now, on MP I have submitted one Siula Punta and one Gokyo Ri - but the latter summit is already represented there.
Let us see what happens!
Best, Alberto.
