The Cordillera Huayhuash is a rather compact mountain group. Probably, I will do with it the same that I did with the Fitz Roy: namely, to show it from six-seven different viewpoints decently spread across the 360° (see N.18401).
With a sky permanently blue like in Patagonia, the program should be the following (consider that in this region Punta means pass):
1. Cacanan Punta, 4699
2. Summit 4890 below Jirishanca Chico
3. Summit 4970 above Siula Punta
4. Summit 5150 above Trapecio Punta
5. Cerro Gran Vista, or "5152 Alpenverein"
6. Rasac Punta, 5150
7. Summit 4840 above Sambuya Punta
Cerro Gran Vista seems to be a good starting point, although maybe is not the most spectacular. The highest peak, Yerupaja, is quite hidden by its neighbour Yerupaja Sur. On the other hand, the view is optimal over the W face of Siula Grande, famous because of Joe Simpson's epic adventure described in "Touching the Void".
