I am glad, I solved it. :-)
In fact, Montecristo was my first idea and became rather easy because the German wiki-photo is almost similar.

Honestly, I am a big fan of Dumas. What I like most about his most popular novels, is, that they shine without a happy ending. That is not too easy to do.

No, non ci sono mai stato, anche se mi sarebbe piaciuto molto farlo. Quando mi ero informato per andarci, era molto difficile. Non c'erano mezzi per arrivarci e bisognava andarci con visite guidate molto contingentate. Adesso non so.

Le stesse informazioni che ho sempre avuto io: accesso molto stressante... Il lato positivo è che, abbassando per disperazione il tiro, nel 1994 arrivai per ripiego a una Capraia invernale della quale "sto guardando avanti a vedendo" (traduzione letterale dell'inglese "I am looking forward to seeing") le scansioni da Kodachrome di clamorosi tramonti sulla Corsica, scattati dallo Stagnone e dallo Zenobito.
Comunque, sí, Montecristo dovrebbe essere ancor meglio. L'altro giorno, vedendo per la prima volta la foto, pensavo che per aumentare la difficoltà tu avessi invertito in orizzontale un tramonto su Marettimo - con il monte Falcone spostato da sinistra a destra.
