Bergamo is divided into two areas: "Bergamo alta" (upper town), a hilltop medieval town, surrounded by 17th century defensive walls and "Bergamo bassa" (lower town), the modern town.
In this pano the Upper Town (Bergamo Alta or Città Alta) is photographed from the hills to the east of the town, from a distance of about 2 km.

I agree with you.
I do not want to criticize anyone, but this is not the usual panorama already seen a thousand times. Panos with profiles of cities so outlined, there are few in the site and are very difficult to achieve.

Do you want to critizise because there is not enough acclamation? Remember - if such view is difficult not many have experienced it. Hardly anyone around knows something about Italian cities .... (on hills ....) ....

I would be a fool if I pretended that italian towns were all known. I think it is the type of framing that is quite difficult to achieve for any town. Here we see the outline of some historical buildings that stand out again the sky in a late afternoon. But maybe you are right, one can understand well only if one knows Bergamo.
