Area: Italy      Date: 27 October 2018

I posted this pano because I liked the contrast between the spectral atmosphere of the cement factory and the angel by Giotto.

I know that many do not appreciate this type of pano, but I promise that next time I will post something more traditional ;-)

I have no clue how to even start searching, expecting that Google Earth aerial views will not show the angel... Cheers, Martin

Right now I do not know where it is but I know WHAT it is

.... it is Silo painting (obvious)

... it is the angel from "Il sogno di Gioacchino" by Giotto

... to be found in original in La Cappella degli Scrovegni

... so maybe the silo is also in Padua ??

@Martin: Unfortunately, as you said, Google Earth aerial views does not show angels yet. Who knows in the future ...

@Christoph: very good.
1) It is not a painting, but comes from a projector; as you said, however, it is projected onto a huge silo.
2) It is not a common angel...; as you said, it is the angel from "Il sogno di Gioacchino" by Giotto. Bravo.
3) The original can be found in Padua in the "Scrovegni Chapel"
4) The pano was not taken in Padua, but in a huge cement factory. Where?

The industrial complex in Taverna Bergamasca is very impressive and shows how important it was to establish industry at an place where raw materials and energy are easily available.

It should have been clear to me that this is the right place for such an art installation.
