hi Konrad, I completely disagree this is almost like Arizona. This is a pure, relatively young, volcanic landscape while Arizona is mostly composed of much older sedimentary rocks.

I never been in Arizona, I know that landscape only from photos or movies. That was only my subjective feeling, when I was there. You`re right about age of these places, but deserts plants and landscape and road in the middle of nowhere is quite similiar for me.

I think this is a very good viewpoint for THIS landscape.

Of course there are also some volcanos in Arizona; its landscape is HIGHLY diversified. The highest peak of Arizona is volcanic (Humphreys Peak) and in the Flagstaff area you will find certainly find vistas alike this one, although you will find more cinder-cone type of eruption peaks.

Arizona is so MUCH MORE than the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and the Mesas ...
