The Plitvice lakes are a series of karst lakes, one spilling over in the next. Johannes Ha has made some panos of these waterfalls, so I just want to add this more overall impression of the hike along the lower lake. I could not get a clear view of the waterfalls in the open, so it has to be with trees and twigs.

Pano made from 14 HF pics (RAW), 50 mm, Canon 6D, iso-100, f/8, 1/250 sec, developed in DPP (daylight, neutral, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, contrast, downscaling and sharpening in Irfanview.

This is a view I remember, although it has been some 14 years ago.

At the first look I didn't like the cut of the tree. But if I looked closer and longer to it I think the composition is very good solved and the mountain in the background is only complete with the tree.

I once again like the colors very much, they seem natural and not pushed. I have to say that Croatia really has nice places. Jan, can you please add the photo metrics. This should be done by everyone as they are an inherent part of a pano.
